    Description

Take a trip to Sweet Home, Oregon, and you will find yourself right at home at Edgewater RV Park and Marina. Guests are well taken care of at the full-service facility with water, electric, sewer, TV, Wi-Fi and a small store. As the name indicates, RV sites sit on the west shore of Foster Lake, bordered by unspoiled forest areas. Whether you prefer summer or winter camping, the park has a spot for you. Daily, weekly and monthly rates are available during the peak season (May 1-Sept. 30) and off-peak (Oct. 1-April 30). Reserving a site takes just a few minutes with the online booking system.

Guests at the RV park simply cross the street for easy access to Lake Foster and the 40-slip marina. More than 40,000 rainbow trout are released into the lake each year from April to June. If you didn't bring a boat, catch your share by renting a 14-foot fishing boat at the marina for a half or whole day. Round out your time by swimming, hiking, sailing and picnicking in the comfortable climate of the Willamette Valley.

From its location on the edge of town, Edgewater RV Park visitors are close to shopping and other services. Gold and timber, two industries that shaped Sweet Home, are showcased at the East Linn Museum. Tools, firearms and period rooms are on display. A fine example of Linn County's distinctive bridges is the restored Weddle Covered Bridge. Country music fans are treated to hits from chart-toppers at the annual Oregon Jamboree, a huge three-day festival in August. For a special getaway, come make Edgewater RV Park your new vacation home.

Not a place to come back to

We reserved a spot here to camp close to the lake, while in town for the music festival. Online the pictures made it look well kept and green. Upon check-in, there were two men at the front desk. the younger one was polite but the older one was quite rude. I pulled into our site to see the grass and all "greenery" was dead/brown. the picnic table was falling apart, etc. The space looked deserted. The bathrooms were good overall - personal shower spaces were nice, but the bathrooms became very dirty, and ran out of toilet paper and paper towela early on each day (and there was NO soap) and it didn't seem like anyone was regularly checking in on it. In addition, it sits right on the highway and across the street from the mill, so you have constant road noise and generator-like noise from the mill. I would not stay here again, even if it was the last place left. Very disappointing
