    noise+ first come

We've been coming for years and really dislike how they let First Come First Serve be reserved. Not Fair and really not accurate wording. Why not just change to all reserved. The owner of the private property attached to the park by A loop, can be very loud at night. Don't know whats happening there, but he races his engines every night about 10:00. (Park quiet time). Seemed very odd.

Great Park - More Reservable Sites Please

We've been coming to Riverbend every year for several years now. LOVE this park; however, one suggestion. Sites that are now unreservable (I see about 12 on the map)need to be reservable. Sites 1B,2B,3B & 4B should be designated as unreservable. The park is so nice and word of mouth has made it very busy. It seems you need more reservable spots and people traveling longer distances would be more apt to stay there if they had a reservation.

We have camped at RiverBend on many occasions. We always make a reservation before going, however due to changes with initial plans, we decided to head up and grab a First Come First Serve site. We arrived on a Tuesday. What a joke! The campground does not work their first come first serve sites as you would imagine. We found 3 of these sites unoccupied, however tags appeared (all the same handwriting) on the board indicating they had been rented beginning the day before through the following Sunday. It appeared someone had drove up, reserved the sites for their party and apparently were planning to occupy the sites later in the week. When questioning the Campground Hosts, they shared this is perfectly fine. If they pay, the site is theirs. They can even buy it and never camp in it and they will not re-rent the site during that time. The first come first serve sites do not have to be occupied. Isn't that exactly what the purpose of first come first serve is? Why not make all the sites reservable if this is the case? The County should change their rules. First come first serve should be just that, you show up, ready to camp pull in and pay.
